My dear Muslim brothers and sisters it has become a common
practice nowadays to explain jihad as a circumstantial and timely job and not a
constant order of Islam. Another thing has been spread by ulama in the society
that there is need of permission of the government to wage or start jihad. I
have to remove this confusion:
Holy prophet may peace be upon him said that “this din
(Islam) will remain as a living religion always because a Jamaat will continue
qital i.e. Fighting in the way of God”. Related in kitab ul jihad
Muslim and Bukhari and other standard books of Hadiths all ulama know it but
they impose strange type of conditions on jihad.
For readers I have to clarify according to the teachings of
Qur’an and Sunnah that following facts must be understood by every Muslim:

Jihad is an order for always and no permission of any government is needed in this
regard and it is jihad but not fasaad. Order of government is needed only if
it is an Islamic state headed by a khalifa but there is no system of
caliphate in Muslim ummah and democratic states are not Islamic to decide
about jihad.

Jihad is taken as Farz kifaya by most ulama but remember it is obligatory duty of
every Muslim to fight once it has affected the Muslim ladies and children
any where in the world.

Holy Prophet may peace be upon him said “a man who finds the jihad in his
life and does not participate in it, neither he pays any thing for that nor
he prays for mujahideen he will be lifted as munafiq when he dies
irrespective of his prayers, hajj, zaka’t and all other good deeds and
ibadaat”. These words are present in Sahih Bukhari and are present in
kitab ul jihad and readers and ulama can confirm it. It is also present in
other standard books of Hadith like Muslim.

Jihad is not killing of innocent people but killing only those who have damaged
the Muslims and deprived them as the Muslim blood is sacred for a Muslim.

Fuqaha and aima kiram have not imposed any conditions on jihad and a misconception
has been spread in the society to misguide the people.

This for information only and the people may disagree but these are facts and not
to be refused. Remember jihad is not terrorism but an ibadat and it can be
against ignorance, illiteracy, theft, bad and evil from the society.
