Title: Using Hair Dye Question: I am 31 years old male. I just got married. Most of my hair are white even in this age. I am using dark brown (as lebelled by the company) hair dye. It is almost like black. I have read somewhere that using black dye is haram is islam. Please guide what should i do? Can i use light brown or brown hair dye if this is not right? Answer: There is no prohibition in the Shari'ah (Islamic Law) to use any hair dye. Whatever you read regarding this matter was not a source of Islam.
