Timings for Supplications Mentioned in Hadith
Question
Dhikr Allah or Zikr Allah (remembrance of God) is an integral part of God's worship and it is preferable to be in all times. I want to ask about: Azkar-al-Sabah (Morning Azkar [1] ) Azkar-al-Masa' (Evening Azkar ) Azkar-al-Lail (Night Azkar ) I want to know the beginning and the end of each of the above times, so I can keep those Azkar at (within) their proper time.
Answer
Adhkaar al-Sabah (morning supplications) refers to those supplications of the Prophet (pbuh), which he is reported to have offered at the time of the beginning of his day (mornings), which was when he woke up for the Fajr prayers. Adhkaar al-Masaa (evening supplications) refers to those supplications of the Prophet (pbuh), which he is reported to have offered at the time of the end of the day or at the time of sunset. Adhkaar al-Layel (night time supplications) generally refers to those supplications of the Prophet (pbuh), which he is reported to have offered at the time of retiring for the day. 29 th June 2000 [1] i.e. supplications or prayers.
