The Birth of Jesus (pbuh) and the Qur'anic Law of Creation
Question
The Birth of Jesus (pbuh) and the Qur'anic Law of Creation... Is the birth of Jesus miraculous or not and does this go against the Qur'an creation and procreation laws Abbas, USA Reply Jesus (pbuh), according to the Qur'an, was born without a father. That is, Jesus (pbuh) was born to a virgin. In this sense, one may categorize Jesus' (pbuh) birth a miracle, because it was the result of the direct intervention of God and was not preceded by the normal male-female interaction, which precedes the normal birth of a child. The second part of your question, i.e. whether or not such a miraculous birth goes against 'the Qur'anic creation and procreation laws', is not very clear to me. What exactly do you mean by the 'creation and procreation laws'? Where are such laws mentioned in the Qur'an? Without being aware of these laws, I, obviously, cannot comment on this part of your question. I would, therefore, request you to kindly provide me with answers to these questions.
