Title: Regarding the Different Sala'h Question: What is the difference between the salaat at-taraweeh , salaat al-tahajjud , salaat al-lail and salaat al-qiyam ? Amine United Arab Emirates Answer: Sala'h al-Tahajjud , Sala'h al-Layl and Qiyaam al-Layl [ 1] are all different names given to the Tahajjud prayers. Sala'h al-Taraweeh is also, in fact, the Tahajjud prayer, but is offered after the `Ishaa prayer rather than at its original time, i.e. after midnight.
