What I mean by 'to kiss' is kissing on any part of the face and hands. Also; can a spouse give the ghusul to his/her mate's dead body? Thanks. This affection may also be shown by kissing the dead person's forehead, hands, cheeks etc. A spouse can, indeed, bathe the corpse of his/her deceased partner. I hope this helps.
