Nauman Ilyas Answer: Moustaches should be trimmed as a part of a person's cleanness, as you have mentioned, as well as a part of maintaining a decent well groomed appearance. Large moustaches do not only hang in the mouth and mingle in our food and drinks but also give a look of indecency and uncouthness.
