Jazzakallah khairun Nauman Ilyas Pakistan Answer: The stated principle applies to all kinds of acts of conscious disobedience towards the Almighty and His prophets. A person, who refuses to obey the commandments of the Almighty, in effect, refuses to accept the Almighty as His Lord and Master. As a response, the Almighty turns away His mercy from such a person and, as a result, the person's prayers may not succeed in attracting the attention of the Lord, till the time that the person repents, resolves to correct his behavior and to live a life that is consonant with his faith and belief in the Almighty.
