More on 'Seeing the Prophet (pbuh) in a Dream'...
Question
More on 'Seeing the Prophet (pbuh) in a Dream'... I am a regular reader of your site. Recently I read one of your answers about seeing prophet (pbuh) in a dream, which probably you posted a year ago. I personally have seen the Prophet (pbuh) in a dream two years ago. I saw a person who was standing in front of my house. I was looking to him from his back, but I could still see half of his face. He was a young man in his twenties having a normal stature, small beard and fair color. I didn't know who is this, but right at that time, some one called me from behind, telling me "oh! you don't know him, he is the prophet(pbuh). He (pbuh) didn't talk to me personally. I woke up suddenly and could never see him again. Would you be kind enough to tell me some thing about it, that what does it mean? Some one told me that it is a prediction of some big achievement. Dr. Abdul Zahoor, Malaysia Reply Unfortunately, I am not qualified to comment on the meaning and the interpretation of dreams. What I have stated in my referred responses is limited to the extent that dreams, except those of a prophet of God, do not have a religious significance [1] and that the general Muslim belief that if a person sees the Prophet (pbuh) in his dreams, he has actually seen the Prophet (pbuh) is, generally, not correct, except in the case of the companions of the Prophet (pbuh), who had seen the Prophet (pbuh), in real life, prior to seeing him in their dream [2] . My fondest regards to you and those around you.
