How can we Judge between Christian & Muslim Worship
Question
Title: How can we Judge between Christian & Muslim Worship Question: A Christian worships idol of Jesus, which is made of stone and give sajjdah by keeping God in his mind, and on the other hand a Muslim also did the sajjdah by keeping God in his mind to the Kabah which is also made of stone, and both claims that their religion is right. The thing which is common among them is , they both give sajjdah in front of stone. But on the other side GOD is against the stone's worship. How can a Muslim justify his worship as the true one, how can we judge between both of them? I hope you understand my question. Actually some one asked me this question but i was unable to give any proper LOGICAL answer being a Muslim, i'll be thankful if you give some logical explanation to this answer. Because most of answers you gave at your site are very logical. Thanks Sarosh Pakistan Answer: The difference between the two stated forms of worship is quite simple: In one form of worship, an idol is held to denote God or His embodied form and, thus, the idol itself is worshipped. In the second form of worship, a stone house (or 'idol') is set only as a mark or the direction of the worship of the One God; In the first form of worship, the idol is symbolic of God Himself, while in the second form of worship, the stone house is not symbolic of God; In the first form of worship, the idol itself is worshipped, while in the second form of worship, the stone house is not worshipped but the Owner of the house is worshipped. In simple words, it should be clarified that Christians worship the images of Jesus (pbuh) as they believe Jesus to be an incarnation of the One God. Muslims, on the contrary, do not worship the Ka`bah , they, in fact, worship the One God - Who cannot be portrayed in any physical form - while facing the Ka`bah . I hope this helps.
