What I was saying, was that maybe, people are gay because they have discovered their sexuality to be so. And so I was asking, what can be done for those people, who are the natural gays. They may feel attracted to those of the opposite gender as well as own gender (bisexual) or just to their own and not the opposite (homosexual). I found my heterosexuality through socializing and discovering it natural without experimenting. Other sexual orientations can come about the same way. So what you are saying, is that people are never born gays until discovering themselves as so? Science has found that babies carry genes of homosexuality. If that's against nature of humans, surely there's some ways that people get "bent", which are more drastic than those you mentioned in your original reply to someone else's query on gays. You might argue that God didn't create humans for incest, for the same reason. Well that I believe is true as science has proved also, that is a perverse psychological condition for which treatment is required. What's your take on all that? Top site by the way! :-) Reply I am not an expert in genetic sciences or human sexuality, however, few incidents of children being born with a deformity does not change the fact of its being a deformity. For instance, HIV positive should not be considered 'natural' for a child who is born HIV positive. It should, nevertheless, be looked upon as a disease and efforts should be directed toward relieving the child of the disease. The same is the case, in my opinion, of the child carrying genes of homosexuality. I do fully agree with you that there are a number of reasons that people get 'bent', but because I am not an expert in the field, I have persistently suggested that curative measures and therapy can only be suggested by people who are experts in the field, after due consideration of the 'drastic' reasons for their perversion.
