Question/Comments: Assalam alaikum warahmatu Allah wabarakatuh In reply to what the brother had said about Al-wahabiah and their believe and the way the address things like Shirk I think that he does not know any thing about that group by the way he described them and comparing them with Al-khwarij there is a big difference between Al-wahabiah and Al-khwarij , Al-wahabiah simply they are the ones who follow the teaching of the Quraan and hadith in the understanding of ( assalaf assaleh [1] ) from sahabah [2] , tabe'een [3] , and the rightly guided Ulamaa . But when you look at Al-khawarij they were a deviant group and some of the Ulamaa classified them as either fussaq [4] or kufaar . Now lets talk about the way that Al-wahabiah did and do da'wah when they do da'wah they do it in a gentle manner not like what you said but if you want to give a choice between harshly forbidding the polytheistic practices or addressing the evils while maintaining unity I think it is the best for the Ummah to forbid the Shirk by whatever method possible is required because this what is causing division amongst the Ummah . Shirk is the worst sin that any would commit Allah will forgive all sins except Shirk . I sent this massage to clarify things not to offend any one. May Allah guide us to the right path.
